Tiger Woods - His Neptunian Nightmare

Who is this mysterious god of the deep, and why is it that when we are in our 52-day Neptune cycle just before our birthdays, there's always some kind of nightmare?

I always warn people about that 52 cycle just before our birthday - the Notorious Neptune Cycle. Neptune is the planet that governs our dreams and fantasies, our imagination and more. However, it seems to me that when we are in that 52-day cycle just before our birthdays, almost always, there is some sort of nightmare that happens.

A nightmare is a type of dream, correct? Yes, and if we have been deceptive, which is also ruled by this mysterious god, it will come to bear fruit during this time of the year for any of us.

Tiger Woods birthday is December 30 - the Ace of Hearts / 3 of Spades birthday. The only one in the year. And, right now, as the media slam dunks him into a dark little hole, he is in his Neptune cycle, just shy of his thirty-fourth birthday.

Let me tell you something about this particular birthday. The Ace of Hearts is literally driven by the desire to be loved. That desire is insatiable-and it's the nature of this card to have love affairs. This does not mean that everyone does, but it is a natural force of the card.

The 3 of Spades can bring forth a dark side, one that can be very secretive. There is often a part of the 3 of Spades life that many know nothing about. I'm not saying this is true for all of them, but often it is. This card can be very deceptive. Put the two cards together and we have a force that can easily have affairs, be dishonest, lie, and believe that it's all okay. Meaning: what we see is maybe not what we're really getting.

The true home of the 3 of Spades is governed by Neptune and Uranus, which means that unpredictable behavior that is deceptive can easily be accomplished, at least for some period of time. Deception becomes the ruler and deceives even its host. Not a great character to invite in.

Tiger's outcome card for age 33 is the 9 of Hearts - and his Neptune card is the 9 of Diamonds. His 3 of Spades has been sitting in the 9 of Diamonds position since his last birthday. So these two nines have been moving in on him since last December, and now they strike!

That 9 of Diamonds / 9 of Hearts combination could cost him some endorsements, as those cards signify endings with both relationships and finances - not to mention his family. Disappointment will be a keyword and theme throughout this situation.

Age 33 in the cards is governed by Uranus, so again, unpredictable situations can come out of nowhere and they will most definitely shape the future. How, is always the question.

Long Range, Tiger's ruling card this past year has been the 5 of Spades. This card brings life changes and changes in career.

And the future...He's going into a double Neptune year on his birthday, and he has the 9 of Hearts (loss of love and relationships) with the 4 of Hearts (family) as long range cards. He also has the Jack of Hearts, which is a card of sacrifice.

The other significant cards ruling Tiger right now are all diamonds - they teach us about integrity. Deception, as we all know is never a good choice. Eventually, it reveals itself. Perhaps this is because its nature is to deceive--even the one it employs to deceive others.

Thanksgiving - In the Cards

I am driven by my curiosity, which is probably what keeps me thinking that I'm 19 years old.

I had to look at the word "Thanksgiving" in the cards to see what card and life path is governing this holiday we celebrate in the USA. A holiday that reminds us to be grateful.

So, the word "Thanksgiving" in the cards is the Six of Clubs, who is The Messenger.

I love doing this because every time I do, which is pretty much daily with one thing or another, the life path of the cards totally align with the word, name, or location, etc. that I am exploring. This holiday is very special.

The Six of Clubs carries the message of responsibility. Responsibility to our dreams, our imagination, our expression, and most importantly--our intuitive intelligence. More important even than these is the responsibility of kindness to others. This is a card of grace, and grace gives way to goodness--goodness is an alchemist that transforms our awareness through understanding.

The Six of Clubs is filled with natural grace and wisdom--it innately understands that the hand of fate is leading us through time; it understands karma. The Six of Clubs knows that love is the key; the answer to all happiness, and that giving from the heart is the true path of wealth and good fortune--fortune that is accumulated in the tapestry of our being--our soul.

The secret to all of this of course is gratitude--who is the true visionary. It is through our gratitude that we see possibility. It is through our gratitude that we see the greatness of life and the future, and it is through our gratitude that we give our imaginations permission to dream with greater breadth, depth, and vision.

This year, Thanksgiving falls on a Seven of Hearts day. Together, the 7 of Hearts and the 6 of Clubs birth the King of Clubs--the one who holds the world in his hand and rules through the power of the mental realm--which is our platform of perception. As the Buddha said, we are mind and matter, and they are one, and we must purify the mind.

The Seven of Hearts is the card of spiritual love and unconditional acceptance which comes from the wisdom of forgiveness. The 7 of Hearts is a prophet who wears the cloak of truth, beauty, and compassion.

What a marvelous day to refine our awareness of the power that we have to dream--for ourselves and others; for humanity. For all living beings and creatures. To dream a world of compassion, understanding, integrity, and mastery.

What a powerful day to align with our innermost nature of compassion and understanding to feel the greatness of who we are when we are awake and hear the call of kindness. It's quite amazing really, isn't it?

Solar Eclipse July 21-22, 2009

There is a solar eclipse today and tomorrow. Interestingly, the cards for the days that this event occurs are profoundly spiritual in nature -

Today is a Seven of Clubs day -

The intentional energy of this card influence has to do with the purification of the mind through our choice to be more consciously aware of that which we are mainly unconscious about.

It's a day to rid ourselves of bad mental behaviors, and move our minds into a greater way of thinking that aligns with our highest goals and greatest self-expression.

The day asks that we be introspective -- how interesting that the Sun will be dark - the light will be out - what a perfect time to meditate and reflect. The external light will be removed so that we will turn out attention within to be reflective and more self-aware, which is exactly what the Seven of Clubs holds as an agenda. Doing otherwise today can create anxiety, poor choices, and missed opportunities.

I am not saying that we should all stay in the cave all day, I am suggesting some time spent in solitude, and a day of being more aware.
The Moon, who rules the subconscious, will be shining its gentle light within to light the way.

The co-pilot for the day is the King of Clubs.
His stealth-like presence opens portals to the unlimited realms of the mind; the higher mind.
This is something to take advantage of.

This day leads into tomorrow, as does the eclipse. Tomorrow, the Six of Clubs will rule the day as the messenger. All of this can be as interesting as we choose to make it. Perhaps there is a message for each one of us... just waiting to be heard. It's a good time to be listening.

Many blessings to us all...

Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett

Two legends died today; Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett. This is monumental.
When I look at the ruling cards of this day, and how they are positioned in the Grand Life Spread - they form a "triangle of death", and this is a new perspective of this positioning.

Today is June 25, and governed by the 5 of Clubs, which represents change -- inside and out. The 9 of Clubs is riding shotgun with the 5 today as the astrological ruling card, and the 9 of Clubs represents endings. The 5 of Clubs sits atop a triangle of cards which represent sacrifice, death, endings, and change. When I put the 5 of Clubs with the 9 of Clubs to reveal what they create together, they become the Ace of Spades: transformation through death and rebirth- which to me is the biggest indicator. There was a similar scenario on 9/11 when the Ace of Spades and the Jack of Hearts (sacrificial love) were the resulting cards for the day.

Farrah and Michael were both born on "10" days in the cards. She was the 10 of Spades and he was the 10 of Hearts. I do not believe in coincidences. The Spirit Card of the 5 of Clubs is the 5 of Hearts, which symbolizes change in home and relationships, and I've noticed that this card often shows up when people leave their bodies.

Farrah Fawcett was born a 10 of Spades, and this year - age 62 she had the death card (9 of Spades) sitting behind her (moving toward her in that position - pushing her toward its intention). Age 62 is the end of a seven year cycle in the cards, and her departure probably became eminent when she was 61, because the 9 of Spades was ruling that year in her cards. Her planetary ruling card was the 5 of Spades, which was sitting in her 10 of Spades house -- moving her along. The 5 of Spades is also the influence that made her so endearing to so many. How lucky she was to have the love of her life by her side when she departed. Bless you Farrah.

Michael was born the 10 of Hearts, with a 10 of Diamonds planetary card, which is why he was so loved and so popular. The 10 of Diamonds is the blessed card, and the 10 of Hearts represents the embrace of the people. On May 28, Michael went into a new 3 month cycle. When I looked at the cycle before that one, I think that perhaps he's been having some health related challenges for a while. On this day of his death, he had the 9 of Clubs behind him and he was sitting in the 9 of Clubs home, which ties into the 9 of Clubs card influence today. The Nine of Clubs is a card of release -- things do not go as we planned when that card shows up, and it's higher expression is that of being an initiation into the universal mind.

Bless them as they go on their way to the other side. They both have many friends over there, and I'm sure that they were greeted with love.

Shawn Johnson - Born to Win!

Shawn Johnson took home coveted mirror ball trophy on ABC's, Dancing With The Stars last night, winning by less than one percent of the vote. This young lady was born with a winning hand -literally. Born January 19, 1992, she has a Capricorn 8 of Diamonds birthday; born to shine, to be recognized, and to be rightly rewarded.

The nature of this card's influence, drives those born on this birthday to be the best at what they do, and to reign in a highest positions of power of their chosen expression. They are often in the spotlight from early on in life. She shares her birthday with come very bright shinning stars, such as; Dolly Parton, Shelley Fabares, Desi Arnes, Shawn Wayans, Janis Joplin, and Jean Stapleton. Edgar Allan Poe and Robert E. Lee also share this birthday. Many child actors as well, such as Trever O'Brien from the Disney Channel's Motocrossed, and Jodie Sweetin, from Full House.

The 8 of Diamonds birthday blesses people with intelligence, vision, foresight, talent, and an undeniable appeal. It is their destiny to be in the spotlight, and the brighter they shine, the more they want to be recognized - it is simply their nature.

Shawn's planetary ruling card is the 10 of Spades, which represents absolute accomplishment. By nature, she is driven to succeed, and carried by success - her destiny is in the cards, and it is quite wonderful to watch this unfold for her the way it is. I honestly wondered if she would make it - however, her serious intent on succeeding, caused her to listen closely to the judges comments, and implement them. Watching her the last three weeks of the show was pretty amazing. She actually got beyond her age, and turned her sometimes stifling determination into a platform for pure self-expression. Congratulations Shawn.

As for Gilles Marini and Melissa Rycroft, such great dancing - but it just wasn't in the cards.
